uicontrol(table): It is not possible to suppress the first special column of headers, or/and the first row of headers
Reported by Samuel GOUGEON (@sgougeon)
Presently, it is not possible to design a table with no first heading column, or/and with no first heading row. Yet, this kind of tables is common:
- no headers on the first column: All columns including the first one can
be "primary". Then, it could become possible to sort the table according
to the items of any chosen column. This is rather the rule in spreadsheets.
- no headers at all ("naked" table"): This is needed for instance to build
applications such as sudoku, or other educational interactive exercises
with matrices, etc.
The Min and Max properties could be used to specify whether a row or column of headers are required, for instance:
Min <>0 : The first row is with headers
Max <>0 : The first column is with headers
By the way, is there any reason to ignore the (1,1) component? This peculiarity looks useless.
