-- Bug description --
Function grayplot fails to display data because of lack of memory.
Scilab version 5.3 was used, running Windows XP on Dell Precision M6400 with 3.5 GB of RAM. Stacksize in Scilab was set to maximum:
-->stacksize
ans =
1.148D+08 8405464.
The memory problem gets worse much quicker (for smaller input datasets) if one tries to use the very useful function Sgrayplot (Bug#3788).
-- Scilab error message --
ConcreteDrawableGrayplot::drawGrayplot: No more memory.
-- How to reproduce the bug --
// Used function from Time Frequency Toolbox - (1.2.1) to generate data.
// The size of the input data is normal for common time series.
stacksize('max');
t=0:0.004:8.188;
st=sin(2*%pi*(6+8*t).*t)';
[TFR,t,f]=tfrstft(st);
grayplot(t,f,abs(TFR'))
