ATOMS creates some tmp_* directories in SCI/.atoms/* instead of in TMPDIR

BUG DESCRIPTION:

ATOMS (the GUI or/and command lines?) creates some SCI/.atoms/tmp_<unix_timestamp> subdirectories, and does not remove them after processing, in such a way that a growing set of tmp_* remains in .atoms.
I am wondering
a) why TMPDIR is not used for that
b) why this is done under SCI instead od SCIHOME (where TMPDIR is set). SCI/* requires admin write access. So...

Use ATOMS. I don't know which exact ATOMS command does that.

This behavior already occurred with Scilab 5.5.2
