selection to subsystem fails
Reported by glattfelder
Test_600_4_a.xcos (54.93 KB, application/xml)
It won't accept the modified diagram, so please proceed as described above to reproduce the fault
BUG DESCRIPTION:
----------------
if I go in the Xcos edit menu to the 'selection to subsystem' the block symbol appears on the diagram, but without the usual inport and outport indicators
(black triangles).
If I double click on the block symbol the secondary diagram window opens with both inport and outports numbered, bot then yellow warning triangles appear on all connecting lines between blocks.
If I name the inport block through Format -> Edit, the name is not mirrored back to the main diagram.
Also if I name the subsystem by Format -> Edit in the main diagram, this is not carried to the subsystem. It is still appearing as 'Untitled'.
Note that this is a critical failure for me: I have to migrate my numerous xcos/zcos diagrams with multiple levels of subsystems, which I have been developing in the last several years using this feature of 'selection to subsystem'.
It is also a distinct disadvantage to matlab/simulink where this feature works well across all releases.

HOW TO REPRODUCE THE BUG:
-------------------------
use the attached simple test file. It is 'ready to run'.
OTHER INFORMATION:
------------------
I have tried the 'superblock' feature as well, but this would require very long manual editing and the naming problems are still open there.
when can I expect to have this failure resolved? I am waiting for this to finish my final report on this large project...
