datatips in polarplot mode display irrelevant cartesian coordinates instead of polar ones
Reported by Samuel GOUGEON (@sgougeon)
BUG DESCRIPTION:
----------------
datatips in polarplot mode display cartesian coordinates instead of polar ones. This is irrelevant.
A dedicated display function shall be defined, and used by polarplot() to set curves.display_function for the plotted curves.
--> t = 0:0.01:2*%pi;
--> polarplot(t, -1 + sin(t));
--> d = datatipCreate(gca().children($).children,400);
--> d.text
ans =
!X:1.157 !
!Y:1.313 !
// While we expect something similar to
"R ~ 1.7
"$\theta ~ 47°$"
ERROR LOG:
----------
None. Wrong datatips labels
HOW TO REPRODUCE THE BUG:
-------------------------
t = 0:0.01:2*%pi;
polarplot(t, -1 + sin(t));
datatipCreate(gca().children($).children,2)
d.text
