each time I try the translation tool from the application menu, it crashes the scilab. I am on the mandriva new version of the system. I tried the translatepaths command also and it did the same thing. There is time for a window to pop up and then crash.

In fact every time you need to open a window, there is a crash
What is your graphic card ? are you sure that your drivers are uptodate ?
Does this problem still occur in Scilab 5.0.2 ? Best regards.
