A Mac OS X bug which has been reported on the apple bug tracker (#6567854)
When using Scilab under Mac OS X, if the option -Dapple.laf.useScreenMenuBar=true is used in modules/jvm/etc/jvm_options.xml
a menu item doesn't perform any actions (like the Stop button in Scicos for example or View Code in the demos).
Here is the bug report on Apple bt:
* When I enable the option apple.laf.useScreenMenuBar, I am not able to see the JMenuItem (or to "contact" the listener of the JMenuItem ... since in special cases, I can see it).
* When I disable the option, it is working as expected.
Example with the code:
1) Build it
$ javac Main.java
2) Run it without the useScreenMenuBar:
$ java Main
You will see the item "Should trigger something"
(this behaviour is the same under Windows, Solaris & Linux)
3) Run it with the useScreenMenuBar
$ java -Dapple.laf.useScreenMenuBar=true Main
The item "Should trigger something" does not appear.
