Add a functionality to the "surf" function: surf(x,y,f)
The "surf" function is now the standard to draw 3-D graphics, in the same way
"plot" is the standard for 2-D. When "f(x)" is a function, it it possible to
use the syntax "plot(x,f)" where "f" is the corresponding Scilab function.
This is not possible for "surf". It would be nice to have the same possibility.
Indeed, after defining:
function z=f(x,y); z=sin(x)*cos(y); endfunction
x=linspace(0,2*%pi,100); y=linspace(0,2*%pi,50);
with "surf" function we are obliged to write today:
z=feval(x,y,f); surf(x,y,z')
which is very ugly.
Otherwise, the only other way is to use "fplot3d1".
