HOW TO REPRODUCE THE BUG:

path = cd(TMPDIR)
unix_w("rm -f root; ln -s / root");
fullpath("root/foo")

 path  = 

 /tmp/SCI_TMP_2036_Rrt4KR


--> unix_w("rm -f root; ln -s / root");

--> fullpath("root/foo")
 ans  =

 /foo/SCI_TMP_2036_Rrt4KR/root/foo


// should be  /tmp/SCI_TMP_2036_Rrt4KR/root/foo

In the above example, there are two correct answers:
